Non commencé

Définitions

On dit que (Xn)(X_n) converge en probabilité vers XX si ∀ε>0,P(∣Xn−X∣>ε)→0\forall \varepsilon > 0, P(|X_n - X| > \varepsilon) \to 0. Convergence presque sûre (p.s.) : P({ω:Xn(ω)→X(ω)})=1P(\{\omega : X_n(\omega) \to X(\omega)\}) = 1. p.s. ⇒\Rightarrow en probabilité.

Convergence en loi : FXn(x)→FX(x)F_{X_n}(x) \to F_X(x) en tout point de continuité de FXF_X. Loi faible des grands nombres (LFGN) : si (Xi)(X_i) i.i.d. avec E[X1]=μE[X_1]=\mu, alors Xˉn=1n∑Xi→Pμ\bar{X}_n = \frac{1}{n}\sum X_i \xrightarrow{P} \mu. Théorème central limite (TCL) : Xˉn−μσ/n→LN(0,1)\frac{\bar{X}_n - \mu}{\sigma/\sqrt{n}} \xrightarrow{\mathcal{L}} \mathcal{N}(0,1).

CV en probabilité, p.s., en loi. p.s. ⇒\Rightarrow proba. LFGN : Xˉn→Pμ\bar X_n\xrightarrow{P}\mu. TCL : n(Xˉn−μ)/σ→LN(0,1)\sqrt{n}(\bar X_n-\mu)/\sigma\xrightarrow{\mathcal L}\mathcal N(0,1).

Chebyshev : P(∣Xˉn−μ∣>ε)≤σ2nε2P(|\bar X_n-\mu|>\varepsilon)\leq\frac{\sigma^2}{n\varepsilon^2}.

Formules

  • Xn→PX⇔∀ε>0,P(∣Xn−X∣>ε)→0X_n \xrightarrow{P} X \Leftrightarrow \forall \varepsilon > 0, P(|X_n - X| > \varepsilon) \to 0
  • p.s. ⇒ en probabiliteˊ\text{p.s. } \Rightarrow \text{ en probabilité}
  • LFGN : Xˉn→Pμ\text{LFGN : } \bar{X}_n \xrightarrow{P} \mu
  • TCL : n(Xˉn−μ)σ→LN(0,1)\text{TCL : } \frac{\sqrt{n}(\bar{X}_n - \mu)}{\sigma} \xrightarrow{\mathcal{L}} \mathcal{N}(0,1)

Exemples

Exemple 1

Moyenne de dés i.i.d. : limite ?

Méthode

(1) Lire l'énoncé et repérer les hypothèses / la forme utile. (2) LFGN : Xˉn→72\bar X_n\to\frac{7}{2} en probabilité (E[X]=3,5E[X]=3{,}5). (3) Vérifier le résultat (ordre de grandeur, cas particulier, ou dérivation/substitution).

Résultat

Xˉn→P72\bar X_n\xrightarrow{P}\frac{7}{2}.

Exemple 2

Approximation TCL de Xˉn\bar X_n.

Méthode

(1) Lire l'énoncé et repérer les hypothèses / la forme utile. (2) Pour nn grand : Xˉn≈N(μ,σ2/n)\bar X_n\approx\mathcal N(\mu,\sigma^2/n). (3) Vérifier le résultat (ordre de grandeur, cas particulier, ou dérivation/substitution).

Résultat

Xˉn≈N(μ,σ2/n)\bar X_n\approx\mathcal N(\mu,\sigma^2/n).

Définitions

Une variable aléatoire réelle XX est caractérisée par sa loi (fonction de répartition FX(x)=P(X≤x)F_X(x) = P(X \leq x)) ou sa densité fXf_X si absolument continue. Lois classiques en MP : Bernoulli, binomiale B(n,p)\mathcal{B}(n,p), Poisson P(λ)\mathcal{P}(\lambda), uniforme, exponentielle E(λ)\mathcal{E}(\lambda) de densité λe−λx1x≥0\lambda e^{-\lambda x}\mathbf{1}_{x \geq 0}, gaussienne N(μ,σ2)\mathcal{N}(\mu, \sigma^2).

Espérance E[X]=∫xf(x) dxE[X] = \int x f(x)\,dx ; variance Var(X)=E[X2]−E[X]2\mathrm{Var}(X) = E[X^2] - E[X]^2. Si XX, YY indépendantes : E[XY]=E[X]E[Y]E[XY] = E[X]E[Y], Var(X+Y)=Var(X)+Var(Y)\mathrm{Var}(X+Y) = \mathrm{Var}(X) + \mathrm{Var}(Y).

Loi via FXF_X ou densité fXf_X. Lois classiques : Bernoulli, binomiale, Poisson, uniforme, exponentielle, gaussienne.

E[X]E[X], Var(X)=E[X2]−E[X]2\mathrm{Var}(X)=E[X^2]-E[X]^2. Indépendance : E[XY]=E[X]E[Y]E[XY]=E[X]E[Y], variances s'ajoutent.

Formules

  • E[X]=∫Rxf(x) dx;Var(X)=E[(X−E[X])2]E[X] = \int_{\mathbb{R}} x f(x)\,dx \quad ; \quad \mathrm{Var}(X) = E[(X-E[X])^2]
  • E(λ):f(x)=λe−λx1x≥0, E[X]=1λ\mathcal{E}(\lambda) : f(x) = \lambda e^{-\lambda x} \mathbf{1}_{x \geq 0},\ E[X] = \frac{1}{\lambda}
  • N(μ,σ2):E[X]=μ, Var(X)=σ2\mathcal{N}(\mu, \sigma^2) : E[X] = \mu,\ \mathrm{Var}(X) = \sigma^2
  • X,Y indeˊp. ⇒Var(X+Y)=Var(X)+Var(Y)X, Y \text{ indép. } \Rightarrow \mathrm{Var}(X+Y) = \mathrm{Var}(X) + \mathrm{Var}(Y)

Méthode

(1) Lire l'énoncé et repérer les hypothèses / la forme utile. (2) Var(aX+b)=a2Var(X)\mathrm{Var}(aX+b)=a^2\mathrm{Var}(X). (3) Vérifier le résultat (ordre de grandeur, cas particulier, ou dérivation/substitution).

Résultat

a2Var(X)a^2\mathrm{Var}(X).
